About The Dog Face Team - Meet Angela!

Hi! My name is Angela.

I grew up in the country outside a small town about 30 miles north of Madison. My dad was passionate about black labs and already had Sam when he met my mom. Shortly after Sam’s passing we got Corky, a black lab mix, who quickly became my best buddy. I was always amazed by my dad’s ability to train our dogs, who were the best-behaved boys around! We also had a menagerie of cats and, of course, every girl had a pony…right? My dad’s career with the DNR enabled us to foster young animals, who’d been orphaned in the wild. I vividly remember having the occasional overnight guests consisting of tiny bear cubs, little wolf and fox pups, or small lynx cubs. They were all adorable, but their claws and teeth were still sharp! Unquestionably my compassion for animals and wildlife conservation came from my Dad.

Although I am currently a sales and marketing coordinator at American Printing in Madison, I have a long work-history of management and training in the health and fitness industry. Not only do I believe proper nutrition and adequate workouts are imperative for healthy people, I whole-heartedly promote this same lifestyle for our pets.

I serve on the Dane County Leadership Council for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin supporting women’s health issues and promoting awareness and sit on the Board of Directors for Heartland Farm Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless farm animals in Wisconsin while building connections between animals and vulnerable youth. I live in Oregon with my husband, Scott, and our family of 5 children, two dogs, two cats and two fish.

I could not be happier to have joined the Dog Face team!
